RICHARD GATI
Chairman
Richard Gati is head of BXR Partners’ Singapore office.
Prior to joining BXR Partners in 2011, he was Principal of GATKO Partners Pte and GATKO Partners LLP, which he co-founded in 2005 to manage the GATKO Global Opportunities Master Fund Ltd. He was previously at Bear Stearns International as Managing Director Principal from 2000 to 2005. Prior to this, he spent two years at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, having started his career at ING Barings in 1994.
Richard currently sits on the board of Trax, Cognitive, Clinch, Wondersmile, Greehill, Pet Space Group, Humn, Red Door Group, Artemis Grill & KUSALA Resorts.
CSABA BARTA
Chief Executive Officer and Member of the Board of Directors
Csaba is a serial entrepreneur, investment, and finance professional, creating a number of successful ventures during his career and assisting businesses to improve their performances by overseeing their operations either as an executive or non-executive director. As a Senior Advisor to BXR Group, he has provided investment and operational improvement advice, and held advisory, board, and management positions at BXR portfolio companies.
Csaba is passionate about hospitality, having been involved with numerous businesses in various roles. He is the driving force behind KUSALA and its unique approach to hospitality.
In his spare time Csaba helps the Badur Foundation on a volunteer basis where he also acts as Chairman of the Board of Trustees.

GARY TYSON
Director of Operations
Gary started his career in hospitality with the venerable Aman Resorts, where he learnt his craft at the celebrated Amanwana, Amanjiwo and Amandari properties in Indonesia. As General Manager he opened the Amantaka Resort and the Azerai Hotel in Luang Prabang, before becoming Country General Manager of Lao Derm Hospitality Group, Laos’ pre-eminent hospitality organisation.
Gary is highly experienced at all facets of both back and front of house operations and is pleased to be able to bring his extensive knowledge to KUSALA hotels and resorts around the region.

Attila has over 25 years’ luxury hospitality leadership experience in a variety of owner and management roles in food & beverage and operations for award-winning luxury properties in Europe, USA, South East Asia and the Indian Ocean.
In his role with KUSALA Resorts, he oversees strategic development for new openings and owner relations as well as operations and financial performance. He also helps craft the strategic vision for new openings under the Group’s rapid global expansion plans.

Attila has over 25 years’ luxury hospitality leadership experience in a variety of owner and management roles in food & beverage and operations for award-winning luxury properties in Europe, USA, South East Asia and the Indian Ocean.
In his role with KUSALA Resorts, he oversees strategic development for new openings and owner relations as well as operations and financial performance. He also helps craft the strategic vision for new openings under the Group’s rapid global expansion plans.
AARON YEUNH
Vice President of Finance
Having grown up in Malaysia, Singapore and London, Aaron’s multi-cultural background spurred a passion to travel and created a deep interest in the hospitality industry. With a background in investment banking and a career in private equity on the investment team at BXR Partners, he has ample experience working with a diverse range of companies including hotel management groups, co-working platforms, and residential real estate developers.
Aaron is ambitious to utilise his wide network in South East Asia and deploy financial strategies and processes to help support KUSALA’s growth in the region.
